What you will need:

  • Clickfunnels page.

Step 1: Add Checkbox Element

  • Hover your mouse over an existing element and click the "+" to add a new element.
  • Click on the Checkbox Headline element.
  • Hover your mouse over the element and click on the Gear icon.
  • Select whether the checkbox is Required.
  • Edit the Custom Type field. 

Note: If you are adding this element to multiple pages, we would recommend using different values for each Custom Type field.

Step 2: Edit the Checkbox Element Text

  • Click on the text inside of the element to add your desired headline for the checkbox element.

Step 3: Review Custom Field Submission

Example #1: View Contact Record

  • From within your funnel, click on Contacts.
  • Click on the name of a specific contact.
  • Click on Additional Info.

Example #2: Download All Contact Records

  • From within your funnel, click on Contacts.
  • Click on Download Contacts.
  • Click on the Additional Info tab in the spreadsheet to view the data.

Note: The value in the Additional Info field will show in the contact profile as "True" if the contact checks the box when set to Required

The value will show as "False" if the contact does not check the box when set to Not Required.

To ensure the box is never pre checked for your users, make sure you give each of your check box elements a unique (different) name.
