This article will show you how to add your CNAME record in CloudFlare in order to connect it with ClickFunnels. 

This article assumes that you have already added your domain using the Manual Setup in your Account Settings and that you have already completed a CloudFlare setup for your domain.

After adding your domain or subdomain to ClickFunnels, you will need to add a CNAME record to your CloudFlare DNS settings. 

Log in to your CloudFlare account and select the domain that you wish to use in ClickFunnels. 

Then click on DNS.

Adding a Subdomain

If you are adding a subdomain, then you will add a CNAME record for your subdomain that points to target.clickfunnels.com 

In the example below you will see a CNAME record for go  pointing at target.clickfunnels.com 

This will allow me to use the subdomain go.boiseenergysavings.com  inside my ClickFunnels account.

Note: Make sure that the Cloud Icon is grey and not orange as shown below.

Adding a Custom Domain (with www)

If you are adding a domain that will be used as your primary domain, add a CNAME record for www pointing at target.clickfunnels.com as shown in the screenshot below.

Note: make sure that the cloud icon is grey and not orange. 

You will also need to add an additional CNAME for @ pointing to your www domain as seen in the screenshot below. 

Note: make sure that this cloud icon is orange and not grey.

Next click on Page Rules

Click Create Page Rule and create a page rule to forward your root domain to the www domain.

Return to your ClickFunnels account to verify your domain setup. 

Adding the Root Domain (no www)

If you are adding a domain that will be used as your primary domain, add a CNAME record for @ pointing at target.clickfunnels.com as shown in the screenshot below.

Note: Make sure that the Cloud Icon is grey and not orange as shown below.

You will also need to add an addition CNAME for www  pointing to your root domain as seen in the screenshot below. 

Note: for this one, the cloud icon should be orange

Next click on Page Rules

Click Create Page Rule and create a page rule to forward the www domain to the root domain.

Return to your ClickFunnels account to verify your domain setup.
