Advice and answers from the ClickFunnels Team

ClickFunnels Automations

In your ClickFunnels account, you will find that you have the ability to add automations to each funnel step.

This allows you to perform different actions with users, based on the actions that they take on your pages.

This includes:

  • Sending Emails
  • Sending SMS Text Messages
  • Sending Email Notifications (to an email address of your choice)
  • Sending Users to Actionetics Lists

Automation Filters

Depending on the type of page, there will be different types of filters available for your automations.

On Optin Pages, Thank You Pages, and other non-order pages the automations will trigger for Everyone.

**Please note that this includes all known contacts. For example, if someone has opted in on a previous page in your funnel, and you have an automation on your Thank You Page, it will automatically trigger when the user lands on the Thank You Page.

On Order Pages and OTO Pages, you will have the option to add an automation for use for Everyone, those who Saw Page But Didn’t Purchase, and those who Purchased.

Automations that are set to Everyone will trigger for all known contacts.

On Autowebinar Pages you have the option to set automations for Everyone, those who Missed Webinar, those who Attended But Missed Offer, those who Saw Page But Didn’t Purchase, and those who Purchased.

In order for purchase automations to trigger in Autowebinar Funnels, the order page must be in the same funnel.

Adding New Automations

To access your automations, click the Automation tab on the appropriate funnel step.

After you are on the Automation tab, you will be able to see the option to add a New Email, New Action, or a New SMS Text.

Please continue reading for more information on setting up each one.
