Any changes you make to your domain can take up to 24 hours due to DNS propagation. This also includes the DNS cache that is stored on your computer. Please wait at least 24 hours and restart your computer before contacting support about a domain not directing properly to your ClickFunnels site.
You can also use MX Toolbox to check and see if your DNS changes have propagated.
If you are adding a new subdomain to your ClickFunnels account there are two different options.
- If the domain you are adding was registered through clickfunnels, follow the instructions in this article.
- If the domain you are adding was not registered through clickfunnels, please follow the instructions in the article, Custom Subdomain Setup (For Domains Not Registered Through Clickfunnels).
Step 1: Add the Subdomain to Your ClickFunnels Account Settings
Now it is time to go to your ClickFunnels Account Settings.
Login to your ClickFunnels Account.
Go to My Account > Settings > Custom Domains > Add New Domain
Select Use An Existing Domain
Type in your subdomain name in the following format: subdomain.yourdomain.com
Step 2: View Your Current Domain Settings In ClickFunnels
You will want to go into your domain settings for the domain you originally registered through clickfunnels.
Then from here go to Edit Your Zone Records
Step 3: Add CNAME Record
Add a CNAME record with the name of your subdomain pointing to
Example: If your subdomain is go.myawesomefunnel.com, you will add a CNAME for "go" that points to target.clickfunnels.com
Step 4: Configure Your Funnel Domain
The last step in this process is to configure your ClickFunnels pages.
